Our landscaper says that he can handle tree care. Shouldn’t we utilize them?

Arborists understand the needs of trees and are professionally trained to care for them properly. Arborists certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) have passed a comprehensive exam, at least three years of experience, and participate in continuing education in arboricultural techniques. They are trained in the latest technologies and techniques and are thoroughly versed in safe practices. We follow ISA guidelines for tree work and are fully insured.

Can you help me propose a tree care plan to our property owners or board?

We can both prepare a full tree care plan – based on a thorough evaluation of the trees on your site – and help you present the plan to your property owner or board. We can give you the tools you need, including an inventory and/or overview of your trees, pictures of key trees and recommendations for their care, a budget and options for phasing in the plan. Trees and landscaping can add up to 15 percent to a property’s value. A single mature tree can be worth anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000, depending on the type, condition, location and age. We can appraise trees on your property, giving you numbers you can take to your property owners or board, and apply the cost of the appraisal to your overall tree work.

If the need for urgent tree care arises, how will you communicate and respond?
